Tarp Repair Tape Features
Easy to Use: Simple peel-and-stick backing. Simply cut the length that you need, round the corners, and apply to the torn area. No glue, no mess, no extended cure time. Minimal prep required; just make sure dirt and oil aren't going to block the adhesive from making contact. The tape can be applied in place, no need to remove the tarp. However the bond is strongest after curing for 48hrs.
Durable: Constructed from the same 18oz vinyl as most flatbed tarps, this tape functions as both a surface patch and a structural reinforcement layer that flexes and moves with the tarp, holding up to wind, rain, folding, strapping, tension, vibration, and all of the rigors of flatbed trucking. Tested to perform in temperatures as low as -40°F and as high as 200°F.

How to Apply Tarp Repair Tape
- 1. Identify and clean the affected area so that it is free of dirt, debris, or residue, and let dry.
- 2. Cut the necessary length of tape.
- 3. Cut the corners of the tape to round out the edges
- 4. Apply the tarp tape evenly and press firmly, smoothing out any bumps or air bubbles.
- 5. For best results, apply tape to both sides of the damaged area.
- Bond strength will increase over time.
Cheap, generic band-aids like Gorilla Tape or Roofer's Tape don't hold a candle to Vinylock Tarp Tape. The PVC adhesive forms a chemical bond with the base fabric, providing a superior, structurally sound bond that resists tears, punctures, abrasion, and handling just as well as the tarp itself.
