U-Joint for Side Roll Tarp Crank Handle - 21 Spline

The splined U-joint (universal joint) connects the crank handle to the roll tube. The interlocking swiveling knuckles allow for the transfer of rotational motion from the hand crank to the roll tube, enabling the tarp to be rolled from side to side. Precision-engineer for a 21-Tooth Spline Shaft, affixed to the end of your roll tube. The grooves of the spline allow you to set the perfect locking positioning, or timing, of the roll tube and crank handle.

The 1-7/16" splined socket has a through-hole for a 3/8" x 2-1/2" Lock Pin, which holds the spline into the socket. The 1-5/16" crank-handle socket has a hole as well, which locks the crank handle shaft into the socket. The heavy-duty cast construction includes a grease nipple, or zerk fitting, for regreasing if necessary.
