103" aluminum wind deflector runs the length of your tarp axle and is designed to deflect wind from your tarp surface to reduce flapping and strain on the fabric. This is an optional part that is not necessary for your tarping system to function properly; it can be added at any time. However, if you live in an area with significant wind, or if your truck does a lot of higher-speed driving on primary roads, installing a wind deflector will extend the life of your tarps.
