1" Center Ridge Strap Kit for Containers Up to 54' Long

A center ridge strap provides additional support for trailer tarps to prevent sagging between the bows. The stretch-resistant 1" webbing features J-hook attachments and an adjustable ratchet.

An upward-facing protective flap is attached to the ratchet to prevent wear and tear and tear on the tarp. For some applications, two ridge straps may be required.

To mount the ridge strap, attach the hook of the variable end to a hole in center of the front end cap. Run the strap over the bows and attach the fixed ratchet end of the strap to the rear end cap. Thread strap through the ratchet, and draw the strap tight, taking care not to overtighten. Cut excess webbing and fuse the end with heat to prevent fraying. As an optional preventative measure to reduce commodity spatter, twist the ridge strap 2-4 times depending on the length of the trailer.
