These extreme duty mesh tarps take one look at your scrap and refuse container and laugh. The gnarly beasts will last three to five times longer than the typical "heavy duty" mesh tarp. The secret is in the thick, PVC-coated strands, which are coated before the weaving process, rather than coating the fabric after it's woven. The result is a dense thicket of high-strength strands that can take a little push-and-pull, so if the tarp gets snagged on a rogue two-by-four or piece of metal, the weave will flex to absorb the shock, instead of tearing. This gives the operator the opportunity to adjust the load to prevent further catching on the tarp. Please note, this tarp is beastly, but it's not made of steel; sharp, jagged metal will still cut through it with enough pressure, but the heavier weight of this tarp allows for a much longer life span.
