US Tarp 3-Spring External Mount Aluminum Tarp System
US Tarp's 3-spring aluminum systems are a great front-to-back tarping solution for trucks 12' and under. These kits include everything you need except a tarp, which is sold separately. The 3-spring external mount aluminum system is available in both manual and electric versions, with optional features such as an EZ Switch, wind deflectors, and housing in a wide range of sizes. Choose the system that best suits your situation.
Tarping System Tips:
Measure your dump body from where you are planning to install the tarp spool (axle) to the tailgate.
Consider adding a tarpaulin housing or wind deflector to extend the lifespan of your tarp, especially if your truck is running on interstate highways or operates in high wind areas.
You need precise measurements for length and width when ordering a tarp; there is no "standard" width. Measure from inside to inside of your bed for the width, and from your tarp axle to the tailgate for the length. We recommend ordering a tarp that is 2 feet longer than the length of your bed.
Using a metal polish on your tarp system arms can maintain its showroom shine.
