Torsion spring for box locks.

This torsion spring is used in the Striker Assembly (BL7003) for the Pioneer Box Lock system (BL7000).

The BL 7000 Box Lock system by Pioneer is the only mechanical container securement device that can automatically lock and unlock a container with 30,000 pounds of pressure. The use of the Box Lock is easy with the lock assembly mounted to the roll-off hoist frame and the striker assembly can be mounted to the hoist sub-frame or the truck chassis. The rising action of the hoist frame separates the lock and striker assemblies. After this separation, the lock hooks disengage from the long sill of the roll of container. When lowering the hoist, the spring plates of the striker assembly interact with the open hooks, causing them to rotate and (if obstructed) flex outward. This allows for the unobstructed hooks to complete locking without incident.

One set of Box Locks comes with two BL7003 Striker Assemblies, two BL7002 Lock Assemblies and two BL7012 ramps. No pneumatic or hydraulic power is required to operate this system. This system is compatible with all ANSI standards and DOT regulations.
